Published justification

The requirements for this Framework require a UK Laboratory facility and the specialist skills and resources of the National Nuclear Laboratory, the Framework has been developed in line with these requirements in mind. Powders samples may be required for testing and are located at Sellafield Limited, and the NNL’s Central Laboratory facility on the site is the only location where appropriate samples can be obtained. NDA will engage NNL for the Laboratory Related and Research and Experimental Services.

NNL are the sole operators in the Central Lab and have the expertise to complete requirements under this Framework.

Publisher note: This is a framework with a duration of 4 plus 3 years. The framework will be available to the NDA group excluding Sellafield Ltd. This includes NWS, NTS, Magnox, Dounreay.
