What is being bought

Published requirement description

The Council has appointed a number of contractors to a framework agreement for the provision of water damage restoration services. The Council currently insures approximately 1600 premises with the service being required to restore premises back to a useable status following claims ranging from a small amount of damage such as some rainwater ingress under a door or an overflowing washing machine to much larger claims where several locations in one building have water damage, such as rainstorm damage to a roof or a mains failure.

The values stated in this notice are approximate. There is no guarantee as to the level of spend under this framework.

CPV: Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “Water Damage Restoration Services 2025” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 4 suppliers, not a single contract, and call-offs are awarded directly: getting appointed is the whole game.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
