Broadacres has tendered to create a framework for the supply and installation of windows and doors (“Framework”) across their area of operation. Annual programme of works for each year of the proposed framework is approximately 250 properties requiring windows and doors. However, for year 1 (2022/23) of the framework the estimate is marginally higher, at approximately 263 properties.

Suppliers should not rely on any indicative expenditure or volume levels stated as a commitment of the total value of orders that will be placed by Broadacres under the proposed Framework. Broadacres offers no guarantee to potential suppliers on the value of orders that will be commissioned during the period of the Framework.

Suppliers are advised that it is Broadacres’ view that the terms of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as amended will apply to existing workforce employed by incumbent contractor in relation to the services to be performed by the successful Supplier(s).

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 60 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “Windows and Doors Installation Framework” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
