Published requirement description

CDC are looking to appoint a panel of advisors onto a framework agreement for the provision of legal services. The framework is designed to meet the needs of CDC. CDC has also permitted South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) to access the framework in which case SYMCA will place an order directly with the advisor.

It is anticipated that the Framework contract will commence on the 11th February 2025 and will run for an initial three years. There is an option to extend the Framework by a further 12 months at the sole discretion of the Council.

The Council has split this opportunity into two lots:

Lot 1 General Legal Services

Lot 2 Adult Care Legal Services

As detailed in the Invitation to Tender documents.

The Council will appoint a maximum of four Advisors for each of Lots 1 and Lots 2.

  • Recurrence: On expiry of the contract term, including any exercised extensions.

CPV: Legal services

Published award criteria (2)
  • Quality: 55
  • Price: 45
What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 45 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4.5 points. Quality carries 55 of 100: the paper moves it further than the discount.
  • “Legal Services Panel Framework 2025” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 4 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
