The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has previously published a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice on the 30/01/2026 and has sought supplier engagement through applicable established frameworks.
No suitable market interest has been shown in this contract opportunity beyond the Trust's incumbent supplier. As a consequence the Trust is proposing to make a direct award to this organisation on the basis of an absence of competition in the market.
If no suitable and concrete market interest is shown in this contract by the 07/04/2026 the Trust will proceed with issuing a Contract Award Notice.
- Risks
Due to the age of the assets that are subject to maintenance some may fail during the course of the contract. Consequently they will no longer require maintenance and will be removed the contract.
In addition additional Hamilton Medical ventilators and humidifiers may be purchased during the contract term which require ongoing maintenance following their warranty period. These assets may be added to the asset list under this contract.
