Official UK procurement notice
Mechanical and Electrical Facilities Management Services
Authority: Monmouthshire County Council (Local council)
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionMonmouthshire County Council is calling off the outgoing NPS Facilities Management Phase 2 Mechanical Services Framework NPS-CFM-0045-16 and putting in place an extension to one provider under Zone 6 for a period of 6 + 6 months starting from April 2022.
The reason for the extension is due to the disruption caused by the Covid Pandemic throughout the last two years and in part due to the capacity constraints on the in-house and collective procurement teams with a priority focus replacing the outgoing building maintenance framework

Published award criteria (2)
- Quality: 50
- Price: 50
- Price carries 50 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
- “Mechanical and Electrical Facilities Management Services” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
