The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a Provider who is able to take over the management and care provision of two existing residential care homes supporting residents with learning difficulties. There is an urgency to award a successful Supplier who will be required to take over the management of the services and care of the current residents in a short time frame as the contract will commence from 1st July 2022. This contract is for an initial period of 12 months but may be extended for 12 months at the sole discretion of the Council subject to commitee approval. In view of the need to have a contract in place by 1 July 2022 the council is guided by the accelerated open tender regulation 27, clause 5 which allows the minimum time for response to tender to be reduced to 15 calendar days.
