The contract relates to the delivery of comprehensive catering services across all schools within the Trust. This includes the provision of daily meal services, hospitality arrangements where required, and any associated free issue catering requirements.
The proposed contract term is an initial period of three years, beginning on 1 August 2026. Subject to satisfactory performance and agreement by both parties, the Trust may extend the contract for up to two additional periods of twelve months each. Any extension will be on the same terms and conditions as the original agreement, with the total contract duration not exceeding five years.

- Quality: More information is in Document 1 of the attached files, however, preference will be given to suppliers who can demonstrate outstanding answers over catering service, supply chain, food, pupil uptake, administration, contract management, and give comfort over mobilisation and TUPE
- Price: The Bidder with the best guaranteed position for the trust over the core contract period (3 years) will be awarded the full 30% the marks available for overall price. All other Bidders' scores will be calculated relative to this best overall financial offer. Approach to commercial operations of the contract will also be considered
- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
